"Call for experiences concerning publishers by African writers. Many
African writers have expressed their distress at the way they are treated by their publishers and/or distributors. One colleague has described one such as "...a menace to African writers..." In the interests of research developing strategies for such, but also of sharing positive experiences and best practices in publishing of African authors and their treatment we are calling for African writers to share their experiences of being published by others or self-publishing with the Institute of Creative Art for Progress in Africa (ICAPA) Trust. ICAPA Trust is a non-profit-making institution dedicated to the objectives incorporated in its name, including teaching and research. It is registered in Harare. The information will be compiled and used for advocacy and lobbying. Please send your replies by mail
