With his Alevel degree in Journalism from Georgia State University, "Chris" landed in New York to study audiovisual production. She worked in various sections of the industry, including production assistant and video editor, in many American TV production companies. In 2004, she worked as Associante Producer with Imaginasian TV, before making her cinematic debut in 2006. In 2011, after working as Production Manager with Kaméléo International, Marie Christine decided to stand on her own feet.
Her TV serie AFRICAN CHRONICLES AFRICAINES (2014) won the Best African Series Award at Fespaco 2015, Burkina faso. She wrote it along with Issouf Fofana and Alexandra Amon (her sister and producer).
