Boubakar DIALLO is a journalist, film director, screenwriter and producer (Les Films du Dromadaire, created in 2005).

He is known for his fictions and documentaries "Traque à Ouaga" (2004), "Dossier brûlant (2005), "Code phénix" (2005), L'or des Younga" (2006), "Série noire à Koulbi" (2006), "Mogo-Puissant" (2007), "Sam-le-caïdé (2008), "Cœur de Lion (2008), "Le bonnet de Modibo" (2018), "Les trois lascars" (2021).

Originally journalist and novelist, Boubakar DIALLO made his debuts in cinema in 2000. He directed many documentaries and fiction films. Relying on popular cinema and using digital technology, this prolix filmmaker has a successful filmography consisted of around fifteen feature films including "Sofia", "Traque à Ouaga" (2004) ; "Môgô puissant" (2007), "Sam le Caïd" (2008), "Le foulard noir" et "Congé de mariage" (2012)…

He was born in 1963 in Burkina Faso.
Once the bac in his pocket, Boubakar Diallo began to become a journalist. A moment seller of sportswear, he created a satirical weekly, "Le Journal du Jeudi".
He is the author of two detective novels, a collection of stories and numerous screenplays.

Became a filmmaker in 2004, he directed two films "Traque à Ouaga" and "Sofia" (40,000 admissions in Burkina, a big box office success). He chooses to shoot on video saving time and money.
In 2005, he founded his own production company, Les Films du Dromadaire, to shoot films with the money earned with his previous project, convinced that African cinema must reduce production costs and avoid relying on creditors.
He is the COE of his company Les Films du Dromadaire (Ouaga).
