Almasi* is a Zimbabwean American Dramatic Arts Collaborative Organization. Our vision is to professionalize the Dramatic Arts industry in Zimbabwe through education, facilitation and collaboration with professional American Dramatic Artists and Artistic Institutions. It is our goal to see the Zimbabwean dramatic artist developed to their fullest capacity, and to ensure that a legacy of great Zimbabwean dramatic works is ushered into fruition.

Our mission is to inculcate professional values, skills and practices in the Zimbabwean Dramatic Arts. It is also our goal to create, promote and sustain international standards of excellence and ensure proper treatment of artists and advocate fair and equitable renumeration. We aim to build a self sustaining dramatic arts sector in Zimbabwe also through collaboration with seasoned, professional artists from The United States where the organization is also based.

The values that guide everything we do are accountability, transparency, excellence, efficiency, team work and diligence. It is our goal to see the Zimbabwean dramatic artist developed to their fullest capacity, afforded real opportunity, and to ensure that a legacy of great Zimbabwean dramatic works is ushered into fruition.
