When the Voice Sings is a 90 minute long movie produced and directed by Wizzy Mangoma with the help of Artwell Mukonyora as second director. Wizzy says the movie is a dedication to her late mother who passed on in October 2013.
The movie is about friendship, love, determination, hope, youth, empowerment, natural beauty and arts appreciation. The movie is about a young lady, Mauya, who has come back home after studying in the United States of America. She has no family left in Zimbabwe so she starts a non-profit organisation dedicated to empower young girls and orphans. As that is underway one of the youth links her with her past and things begin to unfol.
