In charge of recovering a suitcase full of counterfeits, Alilo lands in Paris from Algiers. There he meets Mok, his cousin, a long time Parisian. The search for this suitcase will lead Alilo to share during one week the hectic life of his cousin in a multicultural Paris. Initially fascinated by Parisian freedom, he soon discovers however that Mok's daily reality is a slalom between unemployment, racism, and petty shenanigans. He meets the young Fatoumata with whom he makes plans for the future even though he is already engaged there. His meeting with Mr. Maurice, a Jewish man of origin who left Algeria thirty years ago, is full of nostalgia. He thinks back to Algeria, which he will soon find again. Through a combination of circumstances, Mok, who has become without papers, is arrested by the police and Alilo, having lost his suitcase, is going to stay in this country full of illusions but full of liberties that sometimes have to be paid for harshly. This country that he discovered riding a motorcycle in the Parisian sky and which will shelter a love ready to get excited.
