The exhibition aims at questioning the purpose of art and the role of the artist as the 'illusionist' who creates the environment and gives meaning to his creations. A con artist is generally known as a person who is good at convincing, tricking or manipulating someone for personal gain. The idea is that the artist too is faced with the same dilemma of having to sell an idea convince an audience of viewers of the meaning behind the created work.

Art Gallery, JMN Nkomo St, corner Takawira Ave, Bulawayo.
Exhibition up until 15 June. Exhibition sponsored by Alliance Française. Usual entrance fee to the Art Gallery.
